Kincade Wildfire California Summary– The fire started on October 23, 2019, in The Geysers, northeast of Geyserville. It scorched 77,758 acres until it was extinguished on November 6, 2019. The fire forced evacuations throughout Sonoma County, including the towns of Geyserville, Healdsburg, Windsor, and Santa Rosa. The fire also damaged over 90,000 structures.

Friday, October 25, 2019- Kincade fire breaks out and becomes the largest wildfire in Northern California – November 4, 2019 The Kincade Fire is burning rapidly and now covers 40 square miles. It has destroyed or damaged at least 49 homes and structures. Until now, it is 10% contained.

Monday, October 28th,  2019 – Kincade Wildfire Spreads Rapidly in California –  A statewide emergency has been declared as wildfires continue to threaten vast areas of the state. Over a dozen fires are burning and more than 2 million people are without power. Conditions worsened over the weekend with over 66,000 acres burned and 96 structures destroyed. Much of Sonoma County remains under evacuation orders, with nearly 200,000 people impacted.
