Tornados Wreck Havoc in Central Texas, Adair County, Oklahoma

As per CNN, a high-end EF-3 with winds estimated near 165 mph, occurred in southern Bell county Tuesday evening near Salado. The tornado’s damage path was about eight miles long and about a quarter of a mile wide causing severe damage to the properties and leaving many without power.

According to the reports, another tornado, an EF-1, with an estimated peak wind of 95-105 mph and a path length of 6.5 miles swept through Adair County, Oklahoma, Wednesday morning, downing trees and leaving hundreds without power. The tornado hit at around 9 a.m. just north of Stilwell in Adair County, which is located approximately 100 miles east of Tulsa.

A line of strong to severe storms moved through Kentucky and southern Indiana. There were several reports of tornadoes, straight-line winds, and hail causing major damage to the properties. Homes in Kentucky were left devastated when a tornado ripped through the community of Fern Creek, Louisville. More than 19,000 people were left without power on Wednesday night after a storm moved through the area.
