Deadly Tornado Ravages Texas as Powerful Storm System Hits Western and Central US: Actionable Insights on EigenPrism

On Wednesday night, a tornado wreaked havoc on a small town in northwest Texas, killing four people. The tornado struck Matador, a town located approximately 280 miles northwest of Dallas. This destructive weather event coincided with powerful storms across the western and central regions of the United States. A total of 11 tornado reports were made, including six in Colorado, three in Texas, and one each in Wyoming and Nebraska.

In a separate incident, a concert at Red Rocks Amphitheatre outside Denver was cut short by violent hailstorms, which injured roughly 100 concertgoers. Significant hailstones were reported across Colorado and Texas.

In addition, widespread power outages affected around 500,000 homes and businesses in Texas and Oklahoma.
