Platform Engineer
Job Description
Experience: 3-7 years
We are looking for a C++ developer responsible for building application that may range from desktop applications to cloud based distributed applications. Your primary responsibility will be to design and develop these applications, and to coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure.
Responsible For
- 1. Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C++ code
- 2. Implement performance and quality modules
- 3. Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
- 4. Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation
- 5. Develop desktop applications/tools to supplement the aforementioned application
Skills Required
- 1. Strong proficiency in C++, with fair knowledge of the language specification
- 2. Strong proficiency in different data structures and algorithms.
- 3. Thorough knowledge of the standard library, STL containers, and algorithms
- 4. Knowledge and experience of the latest C++ standard (C++11 and above) is mandatory.
- 5. Good understanding/experience of template meta programming.
- 6. Good understanding of memory management in non-garbage collected environments
- 7. Proficient understanding of Git code versioning tool
- 8. Familiarity with continuous integration.
- 9. Good knowledge of cross platform build system generators like CMake
